Community Manager

About the Role

As our Community Manager, you'll be the heart and soul of Beers & Business. You'll build relationships with our members, plan and host events (both online and at our London meetups), and create an environment where entrepreneurs feel welcome, supported, and inspired to collaborate. This role is perfect for someone who loves connecting people and has a genuine passion for the startup ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Plan, organize, and host community events — from casual pub meetups to pitch nights and hackathons
• Welcome new members and help them get the most out of the platform
• Moderate community interactions and ensure a positive, inclusive environment
• Identify and nurture potential collaborations between members
• Gather community feedback and work with the product team to improve the platform
• Create engaging content (event recaps, member spotlights, community updates)

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in community management, event planning, or a related role
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience planning and hosting in-person and virtual events
• A genuine interest in startups, entrepreneurship, and networking
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently

Nice to Have

• +Experience with startup communities or co-working spaces
• +Based in or near London for in-person event hosting
