It started with a simple question
In 2023, our founder Jake was sitting at a brewery in Austin, frustrated. He had a great startup idea but no technical co-founder. Traditional networking events felt awkward and transactional. LinkedIn messages went unanswered.
That night, he struck up a conversation with the person next to him. Three beers later, they'd sketched a business plan on a napkin. That person became his co-founder, and their startup raised $1.5M within a year.
Jake realized: the best professional connections don't happen in conference rooms—they happen when people let their guard down. Beers & Business was born to recreate that magic at scale.
